New Contract in Mozambique

US$207 million strengthens presence in this strategic market

Mota-Engil is strengthening its presence in Mozambique with the signing of a new contract worth USD 207 million.

Through Mota-Engil Africa, and in consortium with Bonatti, the Group will carry out the early works for Area 4 of Mozambique Rovuma Venture, led by ExxonMobil, in Afungi. With works starting immediately and an expected duration of 27 months, this new contract strengthens Mota-Engil’s order book in Mozambique and consolidates the Group’s presence in a market with significant growth potential.
