Lobito Atlantic Railway

Mota Engil strengthens its leadership in major infrastructure projects with the financing agreement for the Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR). Signed by Manuel Mota, Mota-Engil‘s deputy CEO, this UD$753 million investment will transform regional mobility, boost transport capacity, and drive a more sustainable future as it aims to increase the corridor‘s transport capacity tenfold to 4.6 million tonnes and reduce the transport costs of critical minerals by around 30 per cent.
