Sustainable Development Goal: 17 – Partnerships for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals

The volunteering action in partnership with the Just a Change Association took place within the scope of the FMAM program “One work, one project”, in Fornos de Algodres, which aims to solve social problems in the territories where Mota-Engil develops projects of particular relevance.
The initiative took place in July 2023, for two days, and had the intervention of two groups of 5 employees per day, from the companies Mota-Engil Engenharia e Construção and Resiestrela.
These employees were part of the teams of Just a Change volunteers, thus contributing to the rehabilitation of three homes of families in housing poverty.
In this action, 3 houses were rehabilitated that now allow greater comfort and well-being to those who live in them, with 10 volunteers from Mota-Engil, for a total of €36,114 invested.
