Restaurant Largo do Paço wins new Michelin Star

Largo do Paço, restaurant of the Casa da Calçada Relais & Châteaux hotel, in Amarante, managed by Mota-Engil Turismo, has renewed its  Michelin Star, in the event that has awarded the prestigious gastronomic stars worldwide, in a ceremony held in Galicia.

This is the tenth time in a row that Largo do Paço conquers a Michelin Star, and the first won by  Chef André Silva, heading the team of Casa da Calçada restaurant since August. André Silva is 30 years old, works for six years in Largo do Paço, and is the youngest Portuguese chef wining a Michelin Star.

The Chef confesses that “conquering this Michelin Star is a dream come true. I would like to thank everyone working at Casa da Calçada and Largo do Paço for the trust placed in me and in my team. This is an unforgettable day that I share with everyone working here, for their commitment, dedication and will to do more and better. Never forgetting our customers, that is the most important for us. It is for them we continue doing our best”.

The Largo do Paço team also counts with Adácio Ribeiro, Restaurant Manager, that offers to our customers a customized service in wine advising and serves one of the region’s best wine lists, ensuring a first-class service in perfect harmony with Casa da Calçada haute cuisine.
