Mota-Engil Distinguished with the SECIL award

Mota-Engil recently received two distinctions of high recognition in the construction and real estate sector for two projects in which it participated, both in Angola. The awards were given for the 4 de abril bridge and requalification of the Bay of Luanda.

SECIL AWARD

The 2011 Secil Civil Engineering Award was attributed to the 4 de Abril bridge in Catumbela, located on the Benguela–Lobito highway. A project by the engineers Armando Rito and Pedro Cabral. This award is given by Secil and the Engineers Association of Portugal.  This project will benefit the local communities and it will promote the union between the neighboring cities of Benguela and Lobito, in a strong contribution towards economic boost and territorial enhancement.

SIL AWARD

In its 4th Edition, the SIL Awards distinguished the rehabilitation of the bay of Luanda. Highlight also goes to the fact that the awards for best office building, attributed to the new head office of ZON and integrated in the project Metropolis, and best commerce project, attributed to Forum Sintra, both promoted by Multi Development Portugal, had Mota-Engil as construction entity.

For Mota-Engil, recognition of merit and competence by independent and recognized entities in the industry stimulates permanent investment in innovation, thus assuming an additional guarantee of quality of services provided to their customers.
