Mota-Engil rehabilitates the emergency room of the Pediatric Hospital in Luanda

On June 27, 2020, the opening of the emergency room, of the Pediatric Hospital, located in the province of Luanda, took place. This ceremony was attended by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, accompanied by the first lady, Ana Dias Lourenço, and other distinguished figures from the Angolan Government. And also the inspection authority DAR Angola, other construction companies, as well as the CEO of Mota-Engil Angola, Francisco Franca.
The building’s rehabilitation and equipment work were carried out at zero cost, within the scope of the company’s social responsibility. This action is yet another important step in solving the health problems of the population, in particular, of the Angolan children.
The new structure, named Paulo Adão de Campos, a tribute to the Angolan gynecologist with more than 40 years of service, offers short-term emergency services, such as outpatient appointments and a day hospital.
Mota-Engil once again at the forefront in combating social inequalities and direct benefits for the local community.
